Designed and patented by a pharmacist and a physician, Talking Rx is a revolutionary tool that helps patients take their medications as prescribed.

The portable and re-usable device attaches to and fits common prescription bottles. Through its built-in digital memo recorder, Talking Rx provides up to sixty seconds of recorded instructions about a medical prescription: when to take the medication, how to take the medication, side effects and other important information from a patient's physician or pharmacist. The patient plays back these instructions by simply pressing the raised red button on the side of the Talking Rx device.

Talking Rx has proven to be very useful and beneficial for:

  • Senior patients
  • Patients with vision problems
  • Those for whom English is not easily read or understood

"Talking Rx is a great device. I am legally blind, and I use it personally as well as when care-taking for another individual. It's so easy - you don't have to take the lids off the bottles to feel the shape of the pill, or ask for help from others. It enables me to be independent. I don't have to put Braille tags on the prescription bottles, which often fall off. The volume is perfect - it's not too loud or too soft. It's a great product."
